AST Code of Conduct

Amy S. Travis works based on a value-centered and people-centered approach.  She values and is committed to:

  • Protection of HUMAN DIGNITY by honoring RIGHTS and working for
  • RESPECT of all people regardless of differences.
  • INCLUSIVE working procedures, not discriminating based on sex, age, creed, religion, race, political affiliation, economic status, or sexual-orientation.
  • HONESTY in words and action and TRANSPARENCY of intentions so that she can inspire TRUST and cooperation.
  • Creating SAFE ENVIRONMENTS for all people, especially children and the most vulnerable of society.

  • Initiate HOSPITALITY to make everyone comfortable and encouraged to participate.
  • Take a HOLISTIC approach so that she recognizes individuals physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs and support them to find a healthy balance for themselves.
  • Show EMPATHY to understand and be in SOLIDARITY with those whom she works.
  • Reject violence in all its forms within our society and self.
  • Look for PEACEful, NON-VIOLENT solutions for change.
